Entertainment
No matter how many times we watch The Big Bang Theory new details just keep on popping up. The show is all about science, comics, nerdy humour, and other geeky stuff, so it’s only natural there’s a ton of Easter eggs, hidden references, and other fun tidbits for the viewers to spot. Here are 8 hidden things in The Big Bang Theory you didn’t notice before.
Sheldon’s T-Shirts
You’ve probably noticed Sheldon has a limited number of T-Shirts he wears on different days. They are mostly solid-coloured with some comic characters popping up here and there. But did you notice that his mood often corresponds to the colour of the T-shirt he’s wearing? The Green Lantern comics offer a mood and colour connection: red stands for anger, green – for courage, yellow – for fear, and blue – for hope.
Pilot Episode
Did you know there’s a pilot episode that has never made it to the screens? Apparently it was so bad that the producers didn’t want to pick up the show after they’ve watched it. Things changed for the better when the scriptwriters ditched to female characters – a scientist and a street girl – and introduced a friendly blonde neighbour named Penny instead. It was the best choice in the world!
