Following a 'special bond' spawned by filming one of the greatest series of all time, Breaking Bad co-stars Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul have teamed up to create their very own brand of Mezcal.
Dos Hombres
Called Dos Hombres, it is billed as a 'real, artesanal mezcal made by hand in Mexico'.
In an Instagram post, Cranston wrote: "We had the time of our lives while shooting Breaking Bad and truly built a very special bond. Knowing that we couldn't share the screen for quite a while - our thoughts turned to a new project."
The post added that they ventured to Oaxaca to meet with experts to help them in their quest for the best alcohol.
"We named it Dos Hombres - two guys on a quest," Cranston explained. "It's been a long and crazy journey and we couldn't be happier to share this with you and the rest of the world."
Sadly for ardent fans of the hit Showtime series, the cryptic tweets of donkeys weren't related to the Breaking Bad movie.
Possible clues regarding the much-anticipated movie were rife when both Cranston and Paul shared the same photograph of two donkeys on their Twitter pages. For those who are bad with clues, the donkey symbolises the mule. Drug mules, to be more precise.
The speculation looked to have some substance as the captions for both tweets read: 'Soon'. Unfortunately, it turned out the cryptic tweets were for the tequila brand Cranston and Paul were about to announce.
"I believe it is a nod to a mezcal tequila that they are bringing out, the two of them, called Dos Hombres," Gunn said on British television.
"Bryan was going to have a launch party on Cinco de Mayo last month and he promised that there would be donkeys there.
"I got very excited about that and said I'd bring my kids and then [it didn't happen]."
However, a movie isn't too far off, Cranston said when speaking to the press in November. "Yes, there appears to be a movie version of Breaking Bad, but I honestly have not even read the script."
According to hacks at The Hollywood Reporter, the movie will centre on Aaron Paul's character Jesse Pinkman and pick off from the gripping season finale.
The tense episode saw Jesse dramatically escape from his captors following a gunfight with a cohort of gangsters. He is then asked by a wounded Walt to kill him after the battle. But Jessie can't do it and escapes in Todd's El Camino car crying that the ordeal is finally over.
